The department received a $10,000 donation from Cimation to support the Chem-E Car Team in 2014. The Team participated in Regionals and qualified for Nationals (November, 2014, Atlanta). Our students represented UL with distinction at the 2014 Annual AIChE Conference in Atlanta. They placed 8th out of 35 national and international universities. Additionally, our graduate students and faculty members actively participated in over 15 technical sessions giving oral presentations, and research posters.
