Process Design Laboratory

Process Design Laboratory

This laboratory has become the focus of improvement over the past several years. The department has steadily updated the computers and design software used in this laboratory. At the current time there are nine Pentium III computers in room 214 which are capable of running the following software: Aspen, Hysis, Pro II, TSWEET, WinSim, PipePhase, ChemCad, as well as Microsoft Office. The instructor of this course has a new Toshiba notebook for classroom instruction and a server to network the computers in the Process Design laboratory. More recently a new computer projection system was obtained to assist in the lecturing of Plant Design. All computers in the laboratory are on the departmental NT network. The area available in this room was recently expanded to 320 sq. ft.
